v5.36 - Menu & Payment Enhancements

Version 5.36 introduces some great new features in Discounts, Multiple Prices for Items, and Calorie Display, as well as building on our existing Open Tab feature.

As always please note that the property branding and content shown are from the IRIS Beta property, but when these features are released it will be with your property branding, logos and colour schemes applied as they are today. If you want any help customising your theme or logos, just get in touch.

Discounts

With our new Discounts feature, you can now create custom discount codes to provide your guests with special offers.

The discounts can either be a fixed amount or a percentage, with the ability to easily amend settings.

Each discount can be configured to be valid at multiple outlets or at only one.

Note: This feature is currently only available for integrated properties using Transaction Services.

Multiple Prices on Items

We're delighted to introduce the eagerly awaited feature of Multiple Prices on Items in this release.

Either create the items natively on the IRIS system and input multiple prices, or sync the item in from POS and import the price settings.

In addition, we have improved the design of our Flat Menu layout to accommodate items with multiple prices.

Pro Tip: This feature is ideal for wine lists, allowing you to display both glass and bottle prices on a single item.

Calorie Display

In line with new regulations, we have now introduced a way to display calorie information on items and modifiers.

The calorie information will appear at the same size and font as the item price.

Pro Tip: We know that calories are listed slightly differently in various English-speaking countries. Let our team know how you would like to list the calories - either Kcal, Cal, or Calories.

Open Tab - Pay From Order History Page

Our Open Tab feature is already getting a lot of attention and praise. But it’s never too early to add more improvements.

Now, guests can pay open tabs directly from their Order History. This makes it even easier to close out your tab at the end of the meal.

This feature works with both Open Tab and Pay at Table.

Bonus: All properties currently using Open Tab and/or Pay at Table will automatically have this feature upon release.

General Updates

This release also includes a number of smaller enhancements behind the scenes and general performance improvements.
