Open Tab
Open Tab is an incredibly exciting new feature that offers guests entirely new ways to place orders.
Guests can use the Open Tab feature to start a tab, order multiple rounds of food and drink, and then pay in a single transaction at the end. You can even order from multiple devices, making it easy for groups to place orders on a single check.
Once guests have finished their meal, they can retrieve the bill using their table number, add a tip, and pay off the whole tab in one go.
In addition, these same tabs can be amended by waitstaff at a POS station, allowing guests to order rounds in whatever way is most convenient.
Pro Tip: You can use Open Tab to allow guests to order multi-course meals in fine-dining scenarios, place multiple orders at poolside, or open up a tab at the lobby bar.
If you want to find out more about how this new Open Tab feature can enhance your solution, please get in touch.
Note: This feature is currently only available for integrated properties using Transaction Services.
Pay At Table
A recent study showed that 73% travellers want to use their mobile device to manage their hotel experience. This inspired us to find a way to introduce our app seamlessly into the fine dining experience.
With Pay at Table, guests can retrieve their check at the end of the meal and pay via the app. This lets guests pay quickly and without the need to flag down a member of staff for the bill, keeping guests happy and increasing turnover.
Pro Tip: This feature can be used with our new Flat Menu layout to remove the need for physical menus, while still allowing for a personal experience with a server.
General Updates
This release also includes a number of smaller enhancements behind the scenes and general performance improvements.
