Lewis takes centre stage and gives you more insight into his background, his life at IRIS and what he enjoys getting up to in his spare time…
What do you do, and how long have you worked at IRIS?
“My role is to troubleshoot issues with our application and work closely alongside my team to raise and fix issues which need attention. Also, I am involved in helping with the success of our customers, making sure they are getting the absolute best out of IRIS.”
What’s your background?
“I started my career as a sales assistant at a well-known mobile wholesaler. I went on to work for an energy company for three years, working as a metering analyst.”
What’s the best thing about working at IRIS?
“Being part of an amazing team of people who are always willing to help.”
What sets IRIS apart from other companies?
“IRIS really promotes everyone to have their own voice, if someone has an idea, it will always be taken into careful consideration, which is something I really appreciate.”
What is your most significant achievement to date – personal or professional?
“In my short career, completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Customer Services at my previous job.”
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
“My morning cup of coffee!”
What did you want to do when you were growing up?
“Play golf on the PGA and European tours, travelling the world.”
What inspires you about working in hospitality?
“I really like how challenging the industry is - there is never a dull moment.”
What is your favourite hobby?
“Playing golf at my local club Woburn, and my handicap is currently 10 - I'm looking to get this down to single figures this year.”
What is your guilty pleasure?
“Gin & Tonic and Lindor chocolates.”
