Congratulations! Your Mobile Dining solution has successfully been upgraded as planned to the latest and greatest from IRIS®. In both the BONVoY app and the QR code journey, you will now see the new look and feel.
We have put together a quick tips and tricks guide below on how to make the most of your new Mobile Dining journey! Make sure to keep a lookout for exciting new features in 2022, and as always you can get in touch get in touch with our support team if you need any further assistance.
Inside the Outlet
Tip: Make sure that your Outlet images are high quality so that they look great across devices of all shapes and sizes. Our new feature to show the image in the Outlet Page also means that your image needs to look good in a wider 2:1 ratio as well as the previous 3:1 ratio as before.
You update your image at any time by uploading a new file into the Media Library on the IRIS® Platform and then setting this new image in the Outlet Settings.
Note that you must have the usage rights for any images that are shown within the Mobile Dining journey
Try it out: Try out the new item layouts by selecting a different layout for your categories, you can choose from Grid, List or List with Images - whichever suits you best.
Cart and Order Summary
Try it out: You can now activate extra information about Dietary Preferences for your menu items by using the new toggles in each of your Outlets. If you want to customise the exact text here you can, just let our team know.
Final Content Tips
Tip: We are now supporting icons for all sections, this means if you have an icon assigned it will now show in the guest-facing journey. When it comes to your menu in an Outlet we recommend using either all icons or no icons at all to create a smoother guest experience.
Try it Out: We are now more prominently showing the languages option as a Quick Launch with the globe icon instead of at the bottom of the page - however, if you want to hide this feature please contact our support team and we will update this for you.
